From Navas, Barcelona, Jordi first stepped into the world of photography when he began modelling for some friends. At the time, he had a keen interest in fashion, and would post his images on platforms like Fotolog during the early days of social media. When Jordi turned 20, he bought his very first camera and made the lifechanging switch from being in front of the lens, to standing behind it.

It is the power to capture unique moments and create visually compelling compositions that makes photography such a fascinating form of expression for me.

Having used a range of camera brands and models during my career, I was blown away when I got my hands on a Nikon Z 9 after shooting with it during an advertising campaign. Following this project, I knew I couldn’t go back to any other camera, or brand for that matter. The Z 9’s continuous AF performs at unheard-of-speeds, enabling me to create powerful, razor-sharp images, even in extreme locations. With the Z 9 in my hands, I feel as though there are no limits to my creativity, and I’m always impressed to see what it helps me achieve next.
